Deadline Chapter 24 summary

In chapter twenty four, Ben's condition worsened. He's a lot weaker ans skinnier. He doesnt get out much and he spend most of his time on his bed sleeping. When he's awake, he's doing everything he can to let Cody know that everything's going to be okay. Ben went over to see Mr. Cowan to let him know that he shouldn't blame himself for what happen to Sooner. Mr. Cowan said he'll like to let Sooner know that he's sorry for breaking his collorbone. Marla, Ben's old therapist, came to visit him. she wants to say that she's sorry for leaving him when he needed her the most. hoever, Ben let her promise to help other kids who need help and to never give up on anybody. he also told her that he forgive her, because she doesnt have a choice back then. She got to put her oxygen mask before she help someone else and he gets that.
